The Buffalo Bills came away with a pivotal 26-15 win over the Dallas Cowboys on Thanksgiving Day to improve to 9-3 and inch their way that much closer to locking down a playoff berth.

But while the Bills put forth a terrific performance overall, what the players seem to remember most was a second-quarter, fourth-down quarterback sneak from Josh Allen, where he took a broken play, dove over the line and fought through a couple of tackles to pick up a critical first down.

“Superman,” defensive end Jerry Hughes said, according to Tim Graham of The Athletic. “I’d never seen a quarterback drop a sneak, pick it up and fight off eight defenders while he was Eurostepping to get the first down. It was honestly Superman. I can’t wait to watch it again.”

Allen was originally supposed to hand the ball off to running back Devin Singletary, but instead, he fumbled, recovered the football and somehow achieved a first down.

“There aren’t many quarterbacks like him,” wide receiver Cole Beasley said. “I’ll follow him anywhere. I’m not much of a fighter, but I’ll follow him into a bar fight any day.”

On the day, Allen completed 19 of his 24 throws for 231 yards and a touchdown while carrying the ball 10 times for 43 yards and a score.

For the season, the second-year quarterback has thrown for 2,591 yards, 16 touchdowns and eight interceptions while completing 61.5 percent of his passes and posting a passer rating of 88.3. In addition, he has rushed for 430 yards and eight scores, averaging 4.6 yards per carry.

The Bills will head back home to host the Baltimore Ravens next Sunday.
