Mario Addison made news on Monday. The Buffalo Bills already made a splash with the acquisition of former Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Stefon Diggs. They were not done making moves.

According to ESPN's Marcel Louis-Jacques, the Bills have signed defensive end Mario Addison to a three-year deal:

Per source, the Bills have agreed to a three-year deal with DE Mario Addison

The Bills have made it a point to bring in former Panthers after signing linebacker A.J. Klein and cornerback Josh Norman already this offseason. They have now kept this approach going by bringing in
Addison alongside some familiar faces.

Buffalo was left with a notable gap to fill in the pass-rushing department after losing Shaq Lawson to the Miami Dolphins. The onus will now fall on the veteran Addison to help fill the void in this talented defense while the team continues to gear up for a strong showing in the 2020 NFL season.

Mario Addison came into the league as an undrafted free agent and jumped around multiple teams before finally finding his footing with the Carolina Panthers. It is safe to say that head coach Sean McDermott is well aware of what the veteran brings to the table after serving as his defensive coordinator in Carolina for several years before taking the promotion in Buffalo.

Mario Addison is coming off another stellar outing after finishing the 2019 NFL season with 34 tackles, 9.5 sacks, and two forced fumbles. The 32-year-old will now have a chance to show that he still has plenty left in the tank while the Panthers find themselves without their best pass-rusher.
