Buffalo Bills cornerback Tre’Davious White has made quite a name for himself over the course of his first few seasons in the league. While sometimes it appears as though only some have taken notice, at least one key NFL figure appreciates what White has managed to do as a member of the Bills — former Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver and social media personality Chad Johnson.

Not only that, but Johnson even thinks that White, representing the Bills, is a top five cornerback in the NFL as it stands today.

The 25-year-old White was originally selected by the Bills in the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft out of LSU. Spending the first three seasons of his NFL career as a member of the AFC East franchise, the veteran defensive back now has two years remaining on his initial rookie contract — a deal that includes the first four years of the deal and the team's fifth-year option.

As a result, it is almost time for White to get paid, and in a big way, if the Bills truly believe that he is one of the best cornerbacks in the league like the aforementioned Johnson.

White has become a lockdown defender for the Bills, durable and a solid tackler while there really isn't much more that a team can ask of a cornerback in this day and age. With running backs getting bigger and wide receivers getting faster, it is only getting more difficult to bring down and generally defender these players. Even so, White has made these tasks look easy at times en route to no doubt becoming one of the top defensive backs that the league has to offer heading into the 2020 campaign.
