The Buffalo Bills wide receiver Cole Beasley has been a hot mess in regards to the COVID-19 vaccination. He has made himself the face of the anit-vaxxers and doesn't seem to be backing down anytime soon. After the NFL placed strict policies amongst the league in regards to COVID outbreaks, Beasley has double-downed on his take, per Ian Rapoport.

After delivering a lengthy statement, Beasley once again proves he doesn't fully understand how vaccines work. He mentions how un-vaccinated players will be cut, “over a vaccine that is proven to not keep people from contracting COVID as we've seen.” One key issue with this statement is that Cole Beasley clearly believes that vaccines are a cure. They're not, they simply help people not spread or die from the virus.

Cole Beasley continues to dig himself into a hole with his controversial takes on the COVID-19 vaccine. The NFL did place rather strict guidelines for the players to follow and many players expressed their unhappiness with the new rules. However, there are multiple outlets the players can go to to gain more information about the virus and the vaccine.

Having a pro-choice stance on the matter isn't the issue here. It's his opinionated takes that are giving him the most backlash. Beasley likely would have better luck had he approached this topic with more factual information. Instead, he continues to provide opinions with false information to support his way of thinking.

Receiving the vaccination will be a huge advantage for NFL teams this year as they'll be able to avoid most of the strict rules put in place. According to Pro Football Talk, 18 teams have 90% of their players vaccinated. We'll see how the Bills training camp goes, as Beasley continues to openly refuse to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.

He could put the Bills season in jeopardy if he contracts and spreads the virus. There is a chance Buffalo opts to release him to avoid that situation altogether. Keep an eye on the situation, as Beasley's future is uncertain.
