The Buffalo Bills selected Ed Oliver with the ninth overall pick and he already knows all about what the Bills Mafia is about. After being selected he was asked by Mike Catalana of 13WHAM what he knew about the Bills Mafia and his answer was pretty simple.
“I know they go through tables and I know it looks like they have hell a lot of fun, so as long as we win pretty sure we will have fun.”
Bills fans have been known to get pretty wild during pregame festivities and there is no doubt that if the team is winning the parties will only get bigger.
In the past players haven't been super excited about playing for the Bills, but that isn't the case with Olver who can't wait to get to Buffalo.
“I felt as if the Bills, they really wanted me,” Oliver said via BuffaloNews. “Talking to the DC (Leslie Frazier) and the D-line coach (Bill Teerlinck), I felt like they were going to stand on the table for me. Ultimately, if I fell to them, they were going to take me, no doubt about it, or they were going to come up to get me.
“So, I was not surprised, not one bit. It was kind of like one of those, ‘Well, you know we're going to get you if you're there.' So I was praying I'd get there, honestly, because I like the coaches so much that I was just praying I got there.”‘
Oliver is going to be a big piece of the Bills future and hopefully, he makes lots of fans jump through tables.
