In life, there is death, taxes, and Frank Gore running strong for whatever team he is playing for. After a 41-yard scamper, the Buffalo Bills running back became the fourth player in NFL history to surpass 15,000 career rushing yards.

Coming into Sunday, the veteran rusher needed 88 yards to reach the 15,000-yard milestone. Just like it was scripted, Gore's 41-yard run in the second quarter put him exactly at 88 yards on the day against the New England Patriots.

The only players ahead of Gore on the all-time rushing yards list is Emmitt Smith, Walter Payton, and Barry Sanders. At 36-years-old, anything Gore does at this point just solidifies himself as a future Hall of Famer.

Catching Smith as the all-time leader in rushing yards is likely out of reach for Gore; as he needs 3,356 yards to surpass the Dallas Cowboys legend. However, Gore needs just 270 yards to pass Sanders for third all-time.

Considering the Bills have another 12 games after Week 4, it's safe to he'll reach that feat this season.
