Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is widely considered to have the best arm in the NFL. However, it appears Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen is ready to challenge him for that distinction.
It is no secret that Mahomes has a cannon for an arm.Regardless, Allen said during an appearance on Barstool Radio that he would like to see which of them can throw a ball further:

It may be a bit far-fetched to assume that anyone has a stronger arm than Mahomes. He made that clear with a number of spectacular circus throws throughout the season. There were times where he even managed to out-throw the NFL's fastest man in wide receiver Tyreek Hill.
Of course, there is still good reason for Allen to be confident. Although he made most of his plays with his legs this season, he also boasts cannon of his own. In fact, it was his throwing power that made him one of the most impressive quarterbacks in his draft class.
Although it remains to be seen which player can throw a football further, there is no doubt that Mahomes is still much better than Allen when it counts. The second-year quarterback is the heavy favorite to take home this MVP award following his spectacular first season as the starter. While Allen has shown plenty of promise, he still has a ways to go before catching up to Mahomes where it matters.
