The Buffalo Bills are heading into a pivotal 2019 season. It'll be the third year of the Sean McDermott era, and the second year with Josh Allen under center.

Allen had an up and down rookie season, flashing the talent that made the Bills trade up in the first round for him at times and struggling heavily with his accuracy at others.

At the start of the team's offseason program Monday, Allen addressed the media and where his head was at entering year two.

In his first year in the league, the former Wyoming quarterback didn't have the best of circumstances. He had one of the worst receiving corps in the league, and a patchwork offensive line blocking for him. He was running for his life a lot of the season, which at least helped him develop some scrambling skills.

He ended up rushing for 631 yards and eight touchdowns. As a passer he threw for 2,074 yards with ten touchdowns and 12 interceptions in 11 starts.

The Bills have been aggressive in free agency adding weapons for him, signing receivers John Brown and Cole Beasley.

Allen has a lot of doubters he'll be working to prove wrong this season, and it looks like he's looking forward to the challenge.

Allen has already reached out to Beasley and Brown he indicated, and hopefully for Bills fans they've already built some chemistry.
