The AFC Divisional Game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Buffalo Bills was one of the greatest playoff games in NFL history, but it also brought forth a controversy. After the game, some fans felt that the NFL's weird overtime rules robbed Josh Allen of a chance at winning the game for the team.

Clearly, the Bills star isn't quite over their heartbreaking loss to the Chiefs just yet. During the NFL's Awards Show, Allen had a hilarious quip that seemed to take a shot at the NFL's overtime rules. (via Highlight Heaven)

Who knew Josh Allen could crack jokes like these?

It's a light-hearted jab, but there's a bit of truth in those statements. The way things were rolling for the Bills offense, there's no doubt they could've traded blow for blow with the Chiefs. However, due to the overtime rules, Allen and the offense weren't able to see the field in extra time, as Patrick Mahomes finished the game with a game-sealing touchdown.

Many fans argued after the game that NFL should change their overtime rules, since the game was arguably decided by a coin toss. While that sentiment may have picked up some steam that week, Kansas City's overtime loss in the AFC Championship Game despite winning the coin toss could work against Bills fans' favor.

Still, there's ample reason for the league to at least just check to see if they can tweak anything. At the very least, Allen and the Bills will make sure that their argument will be heard every. Single. Time.
