Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen suffered an injury scare to his left shoulder in the second quarter of Sunday's game against the Las Vegas Raiders.

Attempting to get the ball out to avoid the sack, Allen was driven into the ground by a hit from defensive end Ardon Key, before nursing his shoulder and being escorted to the locker room by the team's medical staff.

The third-year quarterback would eventually return to the field to close out the half for the Bills by taking a knee that ended the second quarter. While his status for the remainder of the game was unknown at that point, Allen exited the locker room and was seen with a left support sleeve, before Buffalo confirmed his availability for the remainder of the match.

Having led the Bills to a 3-0 record, the product out of the University of Wyoming has two touchdowns and more than 150 yards on the day, to add to a season in which he has accumulated a 124.8 passing rating.

The surprise of the NFL thus far, Buffalo, in looking to get to 4-0, is attempting to win the AFC East for the first time since 1995, and prevent the rival New England Patriots from capturing the division for the first time since 2008.

Playing in the third quarter following his return, Allen is 2 for 5 on passing routes, though looks to be operating without any limitations from the questionable shoulder. While it does not appear to be a significant ailment, one can expect the Raiders to look to exploit the potential injury, as they seek to overcome a late deficit.
