Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen is entering the upcoming season with a lofty set of expectations attached to his shoulders. This is mostly due to his outstanding campaign he had last year.

That being said, as it stands right now, the waters are muddied with confusion regarding his status for some preseason tomfoolery. He didn't play in the opener and the team has yet to reveal plans for Week 2. Luckily for us, the Bills gunslinger cleared it up on a radio hit.

“I like having the preseason to get some of those kinks out and get back into the groove of things, maybe take a hit or two just to feel that and feel what it’s like because it’s been so long,” Josh Allen said, via Paul Hamilton WGR 550. “But it is what it is. So if I play, I play. If I don’t, I don’t.”

I, too, like doing things just to get a better feel at… getting smacked around by giant 300-pound men? In all seriousness, I think we all know what he's getting at.

Given his stance, maybe this results in the Buffalo Bills giving him some reps in the preseason at some point. If it is only in a limited capacity, look to Week 3 of the exhibition games for that to happen, as that's the alleged dress rehearsal week for actual starters in the National Football League.
