Ahead of the NFL's trade deadline earlier this week, the Carolina Panthers sent Benjamin to Buffalo in exchange for third and seventh-round draft picks. Through eight games this season, the lengthy wideout has 32 receptions for 475 receiving yards, leading Carolina in the latter category. He has caught a pair of touchdowns.

Had Benjamin played this week, he would've had an opportunity to play in 17 regular season games. The Panthers' bye is in Week 11 whereas the Bills had theirs in Week 6, so including tonight's matchup with the Jets, Buffalo has nine contests remaining on the schedule. Only seven other players have done so in league history.

Benjamin is two years removed from a torn ACL that led to him missing action for the entirety of 2015, After an impressive rookie season where he became just the 11th player to put up over 1,000 receiving yards in their first campaign, Benjamin was still highly productive for Carolina's offense in 2016, catching 63 balls for 941 yards and seven touchdowns.
