Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy suffered a rib injury late in his team's loss to the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday. Luckily, though, he did not suffer any broken bones as he initially feared, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

The Bills can't seem to get a break. They are now 0-2 McCoy and is their offenses most dynamic weapon. He hasn't been ruled out for Week 3, but if he is, their stagnant offense will take a big hit. McCoy is expected to at least attempt to play through the injury.

McCoy hasn't been crazy productive so far this season. He has been a 1,000-yard rusher for the past two seasons. This year, he only has 61 rushing yards through the first two weeks of the 2018-19 season. McCoy only recorded 22 rushing yards in their 47-3 loss to the Baltimore Ravens in Week 1. He then rushed for 39 yards on nine attempts against the Chargers.

Most of McCoy's struggles probably stem from the fact that the Bills can't find consistency at the quarterback position. They benched Nathan Peterman after he completed 5 of 18 passing attempts for 24 yards in their season opener.

Allen made his debut that game and completed 6 of 15 throws for 74 yards. McCoy really strives when his team an be multidimensional. Right, they aren't much of a threat throwing the ball down the field. When they get that together, he'll be a more effective runner and receiver out of the backfield.

Allen threw for 245 yards and a touchdown against the Chargers, which was an improvement. If he can continue to get better and get Kelvin Benjamin and Zay Jones involved, McCoy will be able to do more for them.
