The Buffalo Bills are in the midst of a major re-tooling to their roster. Their situation got a bit fuzzier when offensive guard Richie Incognito suddenly announced his decision to retire.

One teammate who is sad to see Incognito go is Bills running back LeSean McCoy. The star back pleaded his offensive lineman to stay another year by posting a lucrative promise on Instagram:

“Wait wait NOO!! Wood and you … listen 1500 yards I’ll give u 300k CASH,” McCoy wrote. “my favorite WHITE BOY EVER CANT retire lol… love u dog”

McCoy's pleas should certainly come as no surprise. The speedster has long been one of the best running backs in the NFL. However, he was able to maintain his elite status after coming to Buffalo along with Incognito prior to the 2015 NFL season.

The veteran lineman has bee nothing short of spectacular. He had finished the 2017 campaign after having earned a third consecutive trip to the Pro Bowl. That said, he has been notably unhappy with Buffalo wanting to restructure his contract for the 2018 NFL season. Incognito had even fired his agency with a public post on Twitter in response.

McCoy's support shows the strong connection he has with his offensive lineman. It goes without saying that Incognito's career has been plagued with alleged instances of bullying, dirty play, and even the use of racial slurs on the field. However, there is still no denying that he is one of the top talents at his position and will likely want to be paid if he is to put off retirement for another year.
