As mentioned in his Instagram post, McCoy was traded to the Bills in 2015 after Chip Kelly became the head coach. Prior to his arrival in Buffalo, the elusive running back spent six phenomenal seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles.

During his time with the Eagles, McCoy became a fan-favorite in Philadelphia and was one of the NFL's best running backs. Upon joining the Bills, McCoy was skeptical about his future there but he ended up falling in love with the city and the fans.

Over the past four seasons, McCoy has scampered for 3,814 yards and 25 touchdowns with the Bills. Last season, the veteran ball-carrier showed some possible tread on his tires with just 514 yards on 3.2 yards per carry. Both of those numbers were career-lows for McCoy.

Entering 2019, McCoy was stuck in the middle of a crowded backfield in Buffalo. Aside from the former Eagles running back, the Bills had Frank Gore, Devin Singletary, and T.J. Yeldon.

Due to him being set to make nearly $7 million this season, the Bills released McCoy to allow him to have a chance to play somewhere else. Of course, the 31-year-old rusher chose to join his former head coach in Andy Reid.

McCoy now resides in Kansas City but he'll forever cherish his years with the Bills and the Eagles.
