It is no secret that Buffalo Bills Pro Bowl running back LeSean McCoy didn't exactly see eye-to-eye with Chip Kelly during his time with the Philadelphia Eagles.

McCoy made those feelings clear once again as he took a subtle shot at Kelly when discussing his former team ahead of the NFC Championship Game, according to Michael David Smith of Pro Football Talk.

“I got a lot of love for Philadelphia now that the little short coach is with the kids where he belongs,” McCoy said.

The 29-year-old lasted just two years under Kelly before being moved to the Bills in exchange for former Oregon linebacker Kiko Alonso. He had much success with the Eagles posting back-to-back seasons with more than 1,300 rushing yards including a career-high 1,607 yards in the 2013 season.

Following the move to Buffalo, McCoy had voiced that his relationship with Kelly “was never really great” while he also pointed out that his former head coach had parted ways with a few of his talented players that were already on the team.

Since his departure, McCoy has had much personal success in his first few seasons with the Bills coming off the last two campaign posting more than 1,100 rushing yards with totaling 19 rushing touchdowns over that span. In fact, he has earned a Pro Bowl selection in each of his three years in Buffalo. He also became just the 30th player in league history to record 10,000 career yards.

McCoy was the first player since Frank Gore back in 2014 to break 10,00 career rushing yards while joining Thurman Thomas (12,074 yards) and O.J.  Simpson (11,236) as the only Bills players to have at least 10,000 career yards. McCoy is also alongside both Gore (14,026) and Adrian Peterson (12,276) as the only active players to have reached that feat.

Although McCoy has moved on from the situation, there clearly isn't any love lost between both McCoy and Kelly, who is now the head coach at UCLA.
