Week 7 is underway, and things aren't going well for the Buffalo Bills, as their starting running back LeSean McCoy suffered a serious head injury. McCoy took a hit from an Indianapolis Colts defensive in the first quarter that ended his game prematurely. McCoy only managed two carries for 1 yard before having to exit the game.

LeSean McCoy has been vocal about wanting to get more touches. After all, he's a six-time Pro Bowler with one of the most desirable skillsets you could ask for a running back to have. Unfortunately, the Bills may not get to utilize his talent for a while. He'll still need to be evaluated, and will likely be under concussion protocol in the coming days.

So far this season, McCoy has only run the ball 61 times for 243 yards. His replacement, Chris Ivory, has logged 51 carries for 129 yards. McCoy finally became a captain this year for the Bills, but he has yet to reach he end zone. The Bills were also without their starting quarterback Josh Allen. Derek Anderson started in his place, and the Bills fell 37-5 to the Colts.

Through seven weeks, the Bills are 2-5. Allen gave them some momentum since stealing the starting role from Nathan Peterman, but now their entire roster looks questionable. The last thing they want is to have to take on one of the hottest teams in football in Week 8. However, they'll face the New England Patriots in the next game.

If they want to get out of last place in the AFC East, they need to pick up the slack.
