LeSean McCoy wishes the Buffalo Bills were more honest during the preseason about why they were moving on from him. McCoy understands that the NFL is a business but he knows he wasn't cut because of performance because he was outperforming the other backs during training camp.

“The Buffalo thing was, ah… a money thing,” McCoy said, via Nick Wojton of Bills Wire. “We had (training) camp. I was better than guys they had in camp, you know what I mean? So that wasn’t it. But it was a money thing. That was cool. I understand. It’s a business.”

McCoy admitted he was trying to get out of there, but just wish he would have been a little more informed on the process. The team drafted Devin Singletary so after that the writing was on the wall that his time in Buffalo being done.

“I just wish they would have been more honest, because I was trying to get out of there,” McCoy said. “So it was weird. So many things entered my mind.”

McCoy joined the Chiefs and played a big role early during the season, but he hasn't gotten any run during the playoffs. He was active during the divisional game but didn't play. During the AFC Championship game against the Tennessee Titans, he was inactive. Even though he could be inactive during the Super Bowl he is just happy to be with the team.

If LeSean McCoy is active and gets in the game, he will be ready to do whatever he can to help the team win.
