On Thursday, Buffalo Bills wide receiver Isaiah McKenzie sent out a note that he received from the NFL. It informed McKenzie that he was being fined for not wearing a mask as an unvaccinated player inside the team facility.

Within the letter to McKenzie, the league went all the way in to bash the Bills wideout.

“Your refusal to wear a mask occurred after you were informed that it was required for unvaccinated players as set forth in your 2021 club discipline schedule and as reiterated by signage throughout the club facility stating that unvaccinated players may be subject to fines/discipline for failing to wear a mask. Your refusal to wear a mask also occurred shortly after league staff gave a presentation on August 25 regarding the NFL-NFLPA COVID-19 Protocols…”

Dang, the NFL didn't hold back on this one.

As a result Bills wide receiver Cole Beasley, who said he wasn't going to be speaking on the vaccine topic or field questions about his choice to remain unvaccinated, decided to chime in.

It is interesting to see Beasley voice his thoughts after he released a statement at the outset of training camp saying he wouldn't take questions on the vaccine. While interesting, it isn't surprising to see the Bills slot wideout voice his frustrations.

Clearly the NFL has cemented in guidelines in place to try and reduce the risk of an outbreak for any team in the league. McKenzie's tweet mocking his fine by saying, “They got me! NFL you win!” is him trying to clap back at what the league is trying to put in place to keep teams like the Bills from having to miss games.
