Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy isn't one to mince words. A veteran talent, with still electric playmaking ability, doesn't mind giving credit where it is due either.

Following Buffalo's loss to the New York Jets, LeSean McCoy reflected on the entire debacle. Somewhat surprisingly, his take on the game was pretty even.

“They played good,” McCoy said after the game. “They beat us down. They were running to the ball fast, they were on their gaps [and] their routes to the ball. They communicated. Everything we did, they kind of stopped it. So give them a lot of credit. On a short week, they studied hard on film. The big plays we like to run, they took them out.”

McCoy gained just 25 yards on 12 carries and didn’t catch a pass during that game. It was one of the worst games of his entire career, though, much of that is obviously the fault of those calling plays. When having someone like McCoy in the backfield, finding ways to get him the ball doesn't seem like a dumb thing to do.

The Bills are now 5-3 on the season. That is a fine record at this point, especially for a team few figured to be as good as they currently are.

Nevertheless, losing to a team in the division — specifically, one as awful as the Jets — is a huge missed opportunity. The sort that can come back and bite the Bills in the rear if they aren't able to string together a few more wins.
