The Philadelphia Eagles have been put in a bit of a tough position with starting running back suffering a season-ending torn ACL during last Sunday's 23-21 loss to the Minnesota Vikings, and the Bills have LeSean McCoy, who is considered a top candidate to fill in.

This has immediately led to the rumor mill heating up with the team looking to find some help in the backfield via the trade market. Buffalo Bills head coach Sean McDermott says the team constantly gets trade calls concerning the 30-year-old, according to Mike Rodak of ESPN.

LeSean McCoy's name has become commonly mentioned due to the Eagles' need to address their running back situation. He has history with the franchise. He spent his first six years in the league with the team, where he established himself as one of the better players at his position. Beyond that, McCoy is one of the most proven players available. He has shown that he can be a high-impact player out of the backfield, which could help any team offensively.

He is off to a slow start out of the gate to the 2018 season. McCoy has just 147 rushing yards through the first five games played, but it's clear he can have more of an impact. He has notched 1,000 rushing yards six times, reaching that mark in each of the last two campaigns. This makes is reasonable to believe teams are contacting the Bills about his availability.

At the same time, it doesn't look like the Bills want to trade him anytime soon. This indicates that if the team were to venture that route, there will be many suitors lining up to acquire his services. Sean McDermott will gain leverage as the season progresses, because teams will continue to struggle with injuries. The Bills may not be using him much, but keeping him under wraps works to their advantage.

No team has made an offer the Bills couldn't resist. However, there's no telling what could happen in the coming weeks.
