The Buffalo Bills have been rumored as a team that could pursue J.J. Watt this offseason following his release from the Houston Texans. As Watt weighs his options in free agency, Stefon Diggs didn't hesitate to shoot his shot on Twitter in hopes to get Watt's attention.

Watt was released by the Texans earlier this week, giving him a head start to choose where he wants to play in 2021. After leaving Houston, a franchise that is on the brink of a massive rebuild, Watt would likely want a chance to play for a team that is prepared to make a run at the Super Bowl, with the Bills being in that category.

In his 10 seasons with the Texans, Watt experienced the playoffs just five times, failing to reach an AFC Championship Game once. Of course, with his brothers T.J. Watt and Derek Watt on the Pittsburgh Steelers, some people believe he'll join them in the Steel City.

However, teams like the Bills, Green Bay Packers, and even the Cleveland Browns could offer Watt a better path to the postseason. At 31 years old in 2020, Watt contributed five sacks, seven pass breakups, and two forced fumbles.

While he didn't produce All-Pro level numbers, Watt can still be a key contributor for a team that needs some aid on their defensive front. That is where the Bills come in as a potential landing spot after their defense accumulated 38 sacks in 2020, which was tied for the 15th most in the NFL.

With Buffalo's offense becoming a high-octane group with Josh Allen, Diggs, and Cole Beasley, their next step toward becoming a legitimate contender is improving on the defensive side of the ball. Even though it is unknown if Watt would be interested in playing for the Bills, Diggs is doing what he can to convince Watt to come to Buffalo.
