The Buffalo Bills looked fantastic against the New Orleans Saints on Thursday Night Football. Even so, it appears Buffalo has taken a major hit, as the latest update on star cornerback Tre'Davious White creates an unwanted scenario the franchise must face.

According to the Buffalo Bills, “Tre'Davious White suffered a torn ACL and will miss the remainder of the 2021 season.” This is a brutal blow to Buffalo, as this injury couldn't have come at a worse time. They're now without their best cornerback and arguably the best defensive player on the team.

White was in the midst of another stellar year. Through 11 games, Tre'Davious White had recorded 41 total tackles, six pass deflections, and one interception. The Bills are on pace to still make the postseason, but their defense takes a major loss with White sidelined for the rest of the year.

We'll see how he recovers. Considering the injury happened so late in the season, there's a chance Tre'Davious White misses games next year as well. It all depends on how quickly he heals though. Also considering White is only 26 years old, the Bills are likely to take their time and ensure White makes a full recovery.

Keep an eye on Buffalo. They seemed to get back on their groove against the Saints but are currently in a heated race against the New England Patriots for the AFC East crown. The loss of Tre'Davious White does the Bills no favors, but the roster is talented enough to keep them competitive. Look for the front office to potentially sign a free agent or two to make up for this massive loss.
