Buffalo Bills cornerback Tre'Davious White acknowledges it will take more than one man to stop Houston Texans wideout DeAndre Hopkins during Saturday's matchup between the two squads.

White said on Thursday he expects the Texans to move Hopkins all over the field, with fellow cornerback Kevin Johnson also seeing one-on-one acton with the two-time All-Pro (via Nick Wojton of USA TODAY Sports).

“I don’t think it’s going to be a one-on-one matchup. I mean, because, there’s 11 guys on the field,” White told reporters. “Whenever he comes to the left side I have to be on my game and when he lines up on the right, Kevin (Johnson) will have to be on his best game. It’s going to take all 11 of us to try and limit him.”

White tied for the NFL lead in interceptions (6) alongside Stephon Gilmore and Anthony Harris while also racking up 17 passes defended for the Bills, good enough for fourth in the NFL. White was named to his first AFC Pro Bowl team in his third season, and he is the anchor in a strong Bills secondary.

Hopkins was not quite the same menace as he was in 2017 and 2018, but he still caught 104 passes for 1,165 yards and seven touchdowns. He is one of the top receivers in the game, and he could earn an especially heavy workload should fellow wideout Will Fuller be unable to go by Saturday against the Bills.

The Bills might look to play more Cover 2 and blitz more often against Houston, especially if Fuller is ruled out. But that means White and co. will have to be disciplined in defending Hopkins wherever he lines up on the field.
