The Buffalo Bills are in the midst of a playoff push heading into the final stretch of the regular season despite Tyrod Taylor's injury woes and unstable play under center.

With that in mind, head coach Sean McDermott told the media that Taylor has progressed in his recovery from a knee injury and will start against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday if he's deemed healthy enough by the team's physicians.

Taylor is dealing with a knee injury suffered in the Bills' Week 13 loss to the New England Patriots. He was listed as questionable for Buffalo's Week 14 win against the Indianapolis Colts, with Nathan Peterman eventually getting the start when Taylor was deactivated. Peterman was knocked out of the game, pushing Joe Webb into action.

The 28-year-old has started 11 games this season, struggling to perform consistently while dealing with nagging injuries. He has thrown for 2,090 passing yards while collecting 12 touchdowns and an 88.6 passer rating. If he's unable to take the field, Webb will likely get the nod with Peterman still in the concussion protocol.

The Bills are currently tied with the Baltimore Ravens for the final Wild Card spot in the AFC playoff picture heading into the final three weeks of the season, with games remaining against the Patriots and the Dolphins twice.
