The Buffalo Bills are interested in acquiring Seattle Seahawks' premier pass rusher.

Jay Glazer noted that Dan Morgan, Bills' Director of Player Personnel, has close ties with Seahawks' general manager John Schneider.

The 25-year-old Frank Clark is coming off his best season in the NFL. He finished with 41 tackles, 13 sacks, and an interception, and three forced fumbles. In his four-year career, has 136 tackles, 35 sacks, and eight forced fumbles.

He is disruptive, with his ability to get after the quarterback in addition to being stout against the run in the Seahawks' 4-3 defense.

Four days ago, the Seahawks placed a franchise tag (worth north of $17 million) on Clark, but he could be in search of a long-term deal. As of now, the Seahawks currently have only $35 million in cap space. With needs on the offensive line and number of positions on defense, the Seahawks might not be able to afford him in the long run.

Bills, on the other hand, have around $78 million in cap space. They have plenty of cap space to offer Clark a long-term deal that he is in search for. He's not big enough (6-3, 265lbs) to play as a defensive end in the Bills' defense but could be expected to play as an outside linebacker in their 3-4 scheme.

With the high number of talented pass rushers in the NFL Draft, the Seahawks could be inclined to replace Clark for a cheaper alternative. In addition to this, the Seahawks would receive a nice return in draft picks if they can't sign Clark to a long-term deal.

Many NFL moves continue to surface, and it's possible that a trade could be in the works between these two teams.
