Bills’ Josh Allen gets it done on the ground for TD vs. Cowboys

Josh Allen, Bills, Cowboys

Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills stepped into the national TV spotlight against the Dallas Cowboys, and passed their test with flying colors.

Allen scampered into the end zone from 15 yards out to give the Bills a 23-7 lead over the Cowboys late in the third quarter. At press time, the Bills led the Cowboys, 26-7, with seven minutes left in regulation time.

The Bills are headed to a 9-3 record, which keeps them in the hunt in the AFC East behind the New England Patriots. The Bills play the Patriots in December but have already lost to New England earlier this season.

Josh Allen isn’t a fully polished quarterback, but he is avoiding huge mistakes and doing what is necessary to help Buffalo’s formidable defense. The Bills are going to lean on their defense first. Their offense doesn’t have to be spectacular, just competent with occasional doses of potency.

Josh Allen and his offense have provided that against the reeling Cowboys, who are about to fall to 6-6.
