Bismack Biyombo may be opting out of his contract, but it doesn't mean he that he wants to leave Toronto.

The 23-year-old will decline his $2.9 million player option to become an unrestricted free agent on July 1st. Considering his breakout performance in the postseason which saw him become a rebounding monster, the young center could command up to $17 million per year in free agency.

While Biyombo will likely command a large contract, he still wants to return to the Toronto Raptors. Biyombo made that clear after the Raptors' season ended versus the Cleveland Cavaliers on Friday night:

“I would like to be back here. I mean, I've said it before that I love it here. From day one, when I got here, the love that I got from my teammates and this organization has been amazing. I'm sure that there's people that's well place that's going to handle that part. That's the last part I should be worried about, besides thinking of how we can get better as a team and try to improve on our next season.”

The Raptors center made a name for himself once Jonas Valanciunas was sidelined due to injuries. In his absence, Biyombo crabbed a franchise-record 26 rebounds in Toronto's Game 3 victory over Cleveland.

Although the fifth-year player desires a return to Toronto, the Raptors might not be able to afford the hefty price tag that it will require to keep around Biyombo.
