The Pelicans, however, will also be very shorthanded. They're already missing Jrue Holiday and E'Twaun Moore due to injury, and Pelcans head coach Alvin Gentry announced that his star forward Anthony Davis would miss tonight's game as well.
Anthony Davis will not play tonight vs. Clippers, per Alvin Gentry. Just a rest day after playing heavy minutes as of late.

Davis has played 43 minutes against the Thunder, 48 minutes against the Grizzlies, and 40 minutes against the Sixers, and with the Pelicans playing tonight in L.A. as well as tomorrow against the Phoenix Suns, Gentry opted to rest Davis.
