Blake Griffin‘s 2015-16 season was very disappointing in his eyes. He had the off-court incident along with nagging injuries that made it hard for him to remain on the court.

Griffin played only 35 games last season for the Clippers and is hoping to play much more this time around.

The Clippers forward appeared on the Vertical Podcast to discuss his summer and a bit about last season.

Regarding his journey back to the court, Griffin was very critical of himself:

“I actually just got back from vacation, so I took a week off there, so basically two weeks (off) this whole summer. I kind of had in my mind, I’m just going to go all the way through. In my mind, I didn’t deserve a summer break.”

As a Clippers fan, one must love hearing a team's star player with this mentality going into the offseason.

Blake Griffin has it fixated in his mind that he owes the city of Los Angeles and the Clippers franchise everything and will keep working to give back to them.
