After recently dropping his latest rap song with the title “No Worries,” it has now been reported that Portland Trail Blazers star guard Damian Lillard will be launching his next album soon.
Also known as Dame D.O.L.L.A., the talented point guard and artist confirmed in an Instagram post he made last week that his latest project will feature Lil Wayne. The two last collaborated for the track “Loyal to the Soil,” and will once again work together to help Lillard become a more successful rapper.

The 26-year-old Weber State product turned a lot of heads last summer following the release of his first ever album, “The Letter O,” as he showed off his talent in dropping bars. It even peaked at 119 on the U.S. Billboard charts, as he proved that he also had other good stuff to offer outside of basketball.
Now with Lil Wayne confirmed as part of his next album, Lillard will definitely draw more attention to it, and could once again become one of the most purchased on iTunes. However, with more experience under his belt, it may not be surprising if it could surpass “The Letter O” in terms of success.
