The Las Vegas Raiders selected offensive tackle Alex Leatherwood for their 17th overall pick in the NFL Draft. A fan decided to ask Portland Trail Blazers guard Damian Lillard what he thinks about the pick. Lillard had a one-word reply.
Lillard's reply could mean nothing or everything at all. But he seems to be leaning towards disappointment that the Raiders picked Leatherwood with their first choice in the NFL Draft.

Lillard, apart from being known as one of the stonecold killers on the basketball court, is also a diehard Raiders fan. And so fans were excited to know his opinion on the draft. Just like Lillard, some fans were not too pleased with their draft selection.

Lillard's reply was a bit mysterious. But fans know the man's real feelings.

For those following Lillard, he's actually pretty active on social media when the Raiders are playing. During Week 15 when the Raiders faced the LA Chargers, Lillard sent out a series of tweets criticizing his hometown team.
How is our defense this bad man

In a strange turn of events, the Raiders unveiled that “Damian Lillard” is actually their codename for a hail mary play. And Lillard was flabbergasted to hear his name.
So you’re telling us “Damian Lillard” ISN’T a hail mary pass, @Raiders? pic.twitter.com/XxpGhZUga7

Ok … @raiders … I heard that

It would be interesting to hear more of Lillard's opinions now that the brand new NFL season is just around the corner. Will we hear more of his hot takes? Will he continue to show disappointment for his team's behavior? Or perhaps the most important question: will the Raiders still have him in their playbook?
