There's a lot to keep track of in an NBA game for players. From your defensive assignment to the offensive gameplan to ensure the tickets you got your girlfriend don't happen to be located near the ones you got your wife. Unfortunately for Portland Trail Blazers forward Norman Powell, that list also includes remembering that you no longer play for the Toronto Raptors.

Suiting up with the Blazers in only his second game since being traded from the Raptors prior to the deadline last Thursday, Powell hilariously walked over to join his former teammates on their side of the court before the opening tipoff of their match Sunday afternoon. To be fair, habits can be hard to break.

One of the most coveted players around the league in the buildup to the trade deadline, Powell's acquisition by Portland provides the Blazers with a scoring option in their frontcourt to match the output of guards Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum. Not only does the small forward earn over 19 points per game on 49% shooting from the field, but he ranks in the 98th percentile of all scorers in the league, according to tracking data from Synergy Sports.

While Powell is scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent after this season, the Trailblazers are hoping that his offensive efficiency this year is more than enough to finally help propel them towards an NBA Finals appearance. If his dominating performance against the Orlando Magic Friday night is any indication, the Blazers might finally get a chance to play in June.

As long as Norman Powell remembers which team he plays on, that is.
