During his conference call with reporters on Tuesday, Portland Trail Blazers shooting guard CJ McCollum said he and some other NBA players spoke with Breonna Taylor's mother recently.

McCollum and his fellow NBA brothers are trying to get Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron to arrest the cops who killed Taylor.

Breonna Taylor was shot eight times by the Louisville Metro Police Department while in her home.

Houston Texans wideout Kenny Stills was arrested for protesting outside the home of the Kentucky attorney general. However, felony charges against Stills and dozens of other protesters were dropped last week.

Until the cops who shot Taylor are arrested, fans are going to continue to hear African American athletes speak out about it. CJ McCollum, the Blazers and everyone else who have spoken out about Taylor's tragic murder should be commended for using their platform to instill change in the community.
