Portland Trail Blazers shooting guard CJ McCollum has responded to the criticism of FOX Sports analyst Skip Bayless.

Bayless said McCollum disappeared in the fourth quarter against the Golden State Warriors in the Western Conference Finals, as the Blazers got swept. McCollum saw Bayless' thoughts and decided to respond, citing Bayless' putrid scoring average during his high school career.

McCollum averaged 22.0 points in the four-game series against the Warriors and 24.7 points in the Blazers' overall postseason run. Portland came up short, but you can't fault CJ at all.

Skip Bayless has beef with a lot of athletes and he's not the most respected media guy out there. McCollum had enough of Skip's comments and antics and decided to fire back. He even gave Skip a new nickname which figures to catch on in Portland.

The Blazers had a great season and overcame adversity at every turn. The team lost owner Paul Allen at the beginning of the season and then received another major blow when Jusuf Nurkic suffered a gruesome leg injury near the end of the year. However, McCollum and star point guard Damian Lillard never floundered and made sure the team would fight until the end.

Bayless needs to find another team and player to fight with because CJ just ended him on Twitter.
