Portland Trail Blazers All-Star point guard Damian Lillard missed his fourth straight game on Monday night against the Atlanta Hawks due to a hamstring issue.

Despite not taking the floor in more than a week, teammate C.J. McCollum is quite confident that Lillard will be on the floor on Tuesday against the Cleveland Cavaliers, according to Jason Quick of NBC Sports Northwest.

McCollum may have much reason behind his comments as Damian Lillard had already stated that he could have taken the floor against the Chicago Bulls, but didn't want to make his first two games back be back-to-backs that could be too much of a strain on him physically.

Lillard has been making progress in his recovery from the hamstring injury that he suffered against the San Antonio Spurs back on Dec. 20. He has participated in his pregame warmup routine over the last couple of games. In the four contests that he has missed, the Trail Blazers hold a 2-2 record.

Damian Lillard's return to the lineup matches up with the long-awaited debut of All-Star point guard Isaiah Thomas with the Cavs. Although both Lillard and Thomas will be under minute-restrictions, it should make for an entertaining battle at the position on Tuesday night in what should be an offensive showdown.
