As part of the league revealing the new alternate jerseys for each team in the league on Friday afternoon, the Golden State Warriors have a unique design on their uniforms.

What makes this choice in style intriguing is that Portland Trail Blazers All-Star point guard Damian Lillard actually has the street sign tree tattooed on his chest in the same spot that it is on the jersey.

It is well known that Lillard is a native of Oakland and has continually made that known over his first years of his NBA career. His roots are deep in the community as he was born and raised in the city. He had got the tattoo back in June 2013 in recognition of what Oakland has meant to him up to this point in his life.

The 27-year-old has already commented on the Warriors new jerseys that read “The Town” to which he threw some major shade toward the organization.

Lillard hasn't been one to hold his tongue over social media about how he feels about Golden State often times taking subtle shots at the organization. At the same time, he has voiced his support for the Trail Blazers throughout the entire process. Ultimately, this should create some interesting chatter this upcoming season when the two teams face off.
