The Portland Trail Blazers had another first-round exit after being ousted by the Denver Nuggets in six games. On the other, star point guard Damian Lillard went absolutely bonkers in the series against Denver, breaking record after record in an attempt to will Portland to a series victory. Now, Lillard's name will sit forever next to NBA legends LeBron James and Jerry West.

That's impressive, and any time your names are next to legends like that, which also includes Oscar Robertson, you know you did something special. Granted, Lillard would surely exchange all that for a series victory, but it is not his fault in any way, shape, or form. He dropped 55 points in a double-overtime Game 5 loss and did all he could in Game 6 as the Nuggets pulled away in the second half.

The Blazers now head to the offseason with some major question marks regarding the future of Blazers head coach Terry Stotts as well as the future of this roster, specifically the guard pairing of CJ McCollum and Lillard.

The offseason will be interesting to watch in Portland especially, and there need to be moves made if they want any shot of making a run at an NBA Finals trip in the tough Western Conference.

Still, hats off to Damian Lillard for another insane feat in the playoffs of all places.
