Portland Trail Blazers star guard Damian Lillard is a many of many talents. He's known as the purveyor of Dame Time on the basketball court, and Dame D.O.L.L.A. when he releases new music. But now Lillard is exploring the world of gaming. He's recently partnered up with VIZN Gaming, a Portland-based videogame startup company.

Per Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports, Lillard has invested in the company and has taken the equity position. One of the milestones of the company includes first-in-industry UltraVRTM technology. The company is looking to convert popular games into 3D virtual reality.

Via their Twitter account, VIZN Gaming announced its partnership with the Blazers all-star.

From the surface of it, it looks like a great investment on Lillard's part. Virtual reality is clearly the future for which video games will trend towards. Even the NBA has tapped into this new technology, allowing fans to have a brand new experience being courtside during live games on NBA League Pass.

The Blazers star made headlines in the video game world when 2k announced that he's going to be one of the cover athletes for NBA 2k21, along with Zion Williamson and the late Kobe Bryant. It's a well-deserved feat since Lillard has been lighting up the NBA over the last few seasons with his clutch shots, dazzling finishes, and long-distance bombs.

The Blazers are one of the 22 teams set to return to action in the Orlando bubble. They currently sport a 29-37 for ninth in the Western Conference. They are three and a half games behind the Memphis Grizzlies.

Portland are at the risk of missing the postseason for the first time in six seasons. While Lillard has performed extremely well this season, the entire Blazers squad just couldn't find their mojo.
