Both Damian Lillard and the Portland Trail Blazers have agreed to an endorsement deal with Biofreeze, as first reported by Shams Charania of The Athletic.

The Portland Trail Blazers deal, as also reported by Chris Haynes of ESPN, includes a multiyear deal with Performance Health. The first patch sponsor worn by the team will feature the brand logo for Biofreeze, which is an external pain relief product.

The deal hints on the subject of Lillard's future and loyalty to the franchise, as he gains a partnership tied in with the team's logo. The deal also makes a bold statement for Portland, as they continue to solidify their unity with Damian Lillard and clear away rumors of him being at the forefront of trades.

Terms of the multiyear endorsement for both parties has yet to be disclosed.

Biofreeze has made significant strides in gaining access and popularity into the sports fanbase, recently signing deals with tennis star Sloane Stephens and snowboarding star Shaun White and will surely look to advance their growth with a major backing as well as publicity in the Trail Blazers.

With the new deal, the Blazers have become the 24th team to obtain a jersey brand patch partnership.
