Damian Lillard of the Portland Trail Blazers swished another one from the logo in their win over the Brooklyn Nets on Thursday. After the game, he shared what was going through his mind during that epic 3-pointer.

According to Lillard, every time he sees a glimmer of space, he won't hesitate to rise up and shoot. He doesn't care how close is defender is or how far he is from the ring.

“Each time I saw a look, I don't care how far it was or if somebody was close to me, if I had a sniff I was raising up and shooting it and that's why I shot that one.”

Below is the clip of the actual shot. Even Reggie Miller, one of the greatest shooters in history, was in awe of Logo Lillard.

Lillard is one of the players who have redefined how the game is played today. In any other era, rising up from half-court is considered a bad shot. Some teams from older eras don't even prioritize the 3-point shot.

But Lillard, as well as the likes of Stephen Curry and James Harden, have given the 3-point shot great value. Trail Blazers head coach Terry Stotts acknowledges that he has a great player in his team. Pulling up from just inside half-court may be a bad shot for some. But not from Lillard who has a knack for it.

With the win, the Blazers have clinched in the eighth spot and will face the Memphis Grizzlies in a play-in tourney. Lillard and crew only need to win one game. The Grizzlies, meanwhile, need to win both games. The winner of the play-in will face LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers.
