Portland Trail Blazers superstar point guard Damian Lillard says he naturally plays better on the road because he loves to quiet crowds.

Lillard says hitting game-winners at home is great, but that quieting a home crowd on the road is a tremendous feeling as well.

“I mean I think I just naturally play better on the road because of that,” Lillard told Omar Raja of House of Highlights. “It's like the only people you have on your side is your coaches and your team. It's probably a few fans in there, but you probably can't hear 'em.

“Quieting the crowd or just like deflating the crowd, taking the energy out of the building…that feeling is just as good as hitting a game-winner.”

Every cold stone killer in NBA history loves to win on the road and send the crowd home upset. Since entering the league back in 2012, Damian Lillard has established himself as one of the best scorers in the game and a lethal closer in the fourth quarter.

For his career with the Blazers, Lillard averages 23.0 points per game at home and 24.0 points on the road. It doesn't matter where Lillard is playing. He's always got one goal on his mind and that's to kill the opposing team.
