Damian Lillard is one of the few remaining lifers in the NBA. He's been with the Portland Trail Blazers from the get-go, and he simply has no intention of leaving.

Lillard recently reiterated (again) his unwavering loyalty to Portland while also taking a shot at the current state of the NBA (h/t Blazers Nation on Twitter):

The recently-concluded trade deadline frenzy led to a couple of powerhouse teams further solidifying their respective title bids this season. No need to be discreet here as we all know which teams (and players) Lillard is referring to here.

The Brooklyn Nets brought on former All-Star LaMarcus Aldridge into the mix following their signing of Blake Griffin not too long ago. For their part, the Los Angeles Lakers were not to be outdone as they too recruited Andre Drummond following his buyout with the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The Blazers had their fair share of activity during the deadline, bringing in Norman Powell from the Toronto Raptors in exchange for Rodney Hood and Gary Trent Jr. Powell has emerged as one of the deadliest shooters in the NBA today, and his addition to the squad should serve as a tremendous boost for Portland's rest-of-the-season outlook. He's no superstar, though.

As for Lillard, he has once again made it abundantly clear that he has no intention of chasing a ring elsewhere. He's sticking with the Blazers through thick and thin and there's nothing anybody else can do to change his mind. Now that's loyalty.
