Let 'em know what time it is!

When it comes to Portland Trail Blazers star point guard Damian Lillard, it's no secret that he's one of the best players in the franchise's storied history already. During Thursday night's nationally-televised game against the Minnesota Timberwolves, he casually etched himself into the team's history books when he tied former Blazers forward Nicolas Batum for consecutive games with at least one 3-pointer made in 44 straight contests.

The impressive statistic was brought up in a tweet from Blazers sideline reporter Casey Holdahl of Trailblazers.com on Thursday night during the Blazers' come-from-behind 108-99 victory over the Wolves at Moda Center.

Lillard was an absolute savage against the Wolves in a game that had a playoff atmosphere, especially down the stretch in the fourth quarter. In 38 minutes of action, Lillard flexed his way to a team-high 35 points on 9-of-22 shots from the field and 13-of-16 from the charity stripe, seven rebounds, and four assists on the night.

Despite the fact that the three-time NBA All-Star started the game shooting 0-of-9 from the field, Lillard didn't let that bother him whatsoever. After his stellar performance against the Timberwolves, Lillard opened up immediately after the game about the Blazers' impressive victory.

“I mean, it's a mental game, you know? Sometimes you're going to have slow starts, and I know I'm going to get a lot of opportunities. Coach does a great job at making sure he puts me in position to get good looks. My team is aware of what's going on so I just keep at it,” Lillard said.

The Blazers, who are now the No. 5 seed in the Western Conference playoff race with a 36-26 record, have now won five games in a row and don't appear to be slowing down anytime soon.
