Portland Trail Blazers superstar point guard Damian Lillard will play on Saturday against the Cleveland Cavaliers, according to Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports.

Lillard has missed the last two games due to back spasms.

The Blazers are currently on a three-game losing streak. Portland is just 5-11 on the season after making it to the Western Conference Finals in 2018-19.

Lillard is averaging 28.6 points, 4.9 rebounds and 7.1 assists per game so far this season. He’s shooting 45.2 percent from the field, 35.7 percent from beyond the arc and 92.8 percent from the free-throw line.

Dame will get to play with Carmelo Anthony for the first time. In two games with the Blazers, Melo is putting up 14.0 points and 5.5 rebounds while shooting 34.5 percent overall and 62.5 percent from the 3-point line.

The Blazers need to string some wins together quickly. They can’t afford to fall back in the Western Conference standings since the West is so competitive. Getting Lillard back in the lineup on Saturday is big news. Portland should be able to defeat the Cavs, who are 4-10 on the season and rebuilding.

Lillard has career averages of 25.5 points in 13 games against the Cavs. He should go off again on Saturday in Cleveland since the Blazers are desperate for a win.
