Portland Trail Blazers star Damian Lillard has been at the center of many trade rumors in the offseason. But his latest venture seems to indicate that he won't be going anywhere.

Lillard has collaborated with NBA legend Shaquille O'Neal to re-create and re-release the legendary signature shoe of the Big Diesel. The Reebok “Shaqnosis” was all the hype in the late 90s, with its striking design that was considered cutting-edge at that time. Now, the classic pair has been given a new look by Lillard and Shaq (via Nice Kicks).

“Shaqnosis” originally had a black and white colorway, but with Lillard in the picture, it was given the team colors of the Trail Blazers. It will be released this September 1.

It's worth noting that Lillard has a shoe deal with Adidas, but quite interestingly, the collaboration still pushed through. In fact, Lillard's logo was included in the re-design, along with the logos of Adidas and Reebok.

Shaq, meanwhile, recently revealed that he left Reebok during his NBA days because the company was overpricing his signature shoes. It prompted him to start his own line that was more affordable for kids.

The 31-year-old Lillard has been one of the more popular shoe sellers in the NBA today, along with LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry, Kyrie Irving, and Giannis Antetokounmpo just to name a few. His impact among young ballers and even fellow NBA players is hard to miss.

It's unclear if Damian Lillard will wear the new “Shaqnosis” in the upcoming season.
