Blazers news: Damian Lillard’s surprising NBA 2K confession
NBA 2K is one of the biggest game franchises out there, and it’s not surprising that a ton of people are hooked on the highly addictive basketball game. As it turns out, Portland Trail Blazers superstar Damian Lillard is no different.
Based on his own admission, Lillard actually plays NBA 2K every single day. On multiple devices:
2K is an everyday thing for me. Sometimes on the 🎮 , sometimes on my 📱
Honored to be the @NBA2KMobile cover athlete for its upcoming Season 4!

Lillard made his confession while announcing that he also happens to be the cover of NBA 2K’s latest iteration on mobile devices. This does smell like a promotional tweet, and it’s very much possible that it wasn’t event the Blazers star himself who came up with the caption. However, he definitely screens what he puts on on social media (he has to, right?) so it’s not as if he’s going to tweet out something that wasn’t true.
Be that as it may, it is clear that Damian Lillard’s screen time isn’t affecting his basketball. As a matter of fact, perhaps it even helps him in developing his game. Somehow. Maybe.
What we can say about Damian Lillard is that he’s definitely an excellent multi-tasker. Not only is he one of the best players in the NBA, but he also happens to be an avid gamer, too. Dame also fulfills his most important role at home as a father to three kids. Oh, and in case you haven’t heard, he’s also been known to spit out an occasional rap hit every now and again.
