Portland Trail Blazers big man Enes Kanter has turned their 97-90 Game 2 victory against the Denver Nuggets into another political issue. However, it does appear that the 26-year-old is on to something here, as he irritably presented some evidence pertaining to the NBA's Turkey Twitter account blatantly removing his name from the game wrap-up.

It is no secret that Kanter is at odds with the Turkish government, as he has, on several occasions, publicly criticized the current administration. They have actually renounced Kanter's citizenship and have accused him of conspiring against the state. The Blazers big man's dispute with his country is no small matter, as made evident by the Turkish media's obvious boycott on him.

It was indeed a shame, as Kanter put up a big performance for his side, as the Blazers secured a 97-90 Game 2 victory in Denver. The former third overall pick logged 15 points (on 5-of-10 shooting and 5-of-5 from the line), nine rebounds, an assist, two steals, and two blocks in 32 minutes of play.

Blazers superstar point guard Damian Lillard had an off night in this one, as he went 5-of-17 from the floor en route to a pedestrian 14 points, with four rebounds, and four assists. Lillard has the likes of Kanter and backcourt partner C.J. McCollum (20 points, three three-pointers, six rebounds, six assists) for stepping up tonight.

The series now shifts to Portland tied at 1-1. Game 3 will take place on Friday, with the Blazers looking to secure a homecourt victory to take the series lead.
