Portland Trail Blazers big man Hassan Whiteside recently channeled his inner Giannis Antetokounmpo in a pick-up game by taking the ball coast to coast for the easy layup.

Hassan Whiteside's last couple of seasons on the Miami Heat weren't pretty. However, he played well for the Blazers this past season and should garner some interest on the open market.

With the Blazers in 2019-20, Whiteside averaged 15.5 points, 13.5 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 2.9 blocks per game. He shot 62.1 percent from the field and 68.6 percent from the free-throw line. Whiteside becomes an unrestricted free agent once the 2020 free agency period begins. It's going to be interesting to see where he lands.

As for Giannis Antetokounmpo, he has a big decision to make soon. The Milwaukee Bucks are going to offer the two-time MVP the supermax extension. If Giannis declines it, he'll become an unrestricted free agent in the offseason of 2021.

Antetokounmpo has actually been heavily linked with the Heat, who will pursue the 2020 Defensive Player of the Year in 2021 should Giannis become a free agent. Although the Russell Westbrook trade request has dominated headlines lately, everyone is patiently waiting to see what the Greek Freak does when the Bucks present him the supermax.
