Twitter is great because it gives fans the chance to get increased access to their favorite players. Additionally, it gives haters a chance to troll. But Portland Trail Blazers center Jusuf Nurkic had no time for such on Monday.

Portland's big man took offense to the Vegas projections for Western Conference over/under win totals next season. The Blazers were left on the outside of the top eight teams. They were the third seed in the 2018 playoffs so dropping out of the playoff picture entirely would be a tough look.

After Nurkic's tweet, one Twitter user pointed out that the Blazers were swept by the Pelicans in last year's playoffs despite being the three seed.

Nurkic didn't let this one go, though. The Bosnian big man responded to the tweet with a somewhat odd comeback.

Perhaps there's a language barrier here because Nurkic's comeback sounds a little odd. But regardless, his main point isn't lost in translation. Everyone has heard their fair share of “yo momma” jokes during their childhood. Even if it doesn't make complete sense in this clap back, we all get the point.

If the Blazers are going to prove the haters wrong next season, Nurkic will play a huge role. The Bosnian Beast averaged 14.3 points and 9.0 rebounds in his first full season with Portland. They'll need his presence on the interior to balance out the offense.

The Blazers will bring back the backcourt combination of Damian Lillard and C.J. McCollum. Although the trio of Nurkic, Lillard, and McCollum are one of the more dangerous in the game, the Western Conference will be a dogfight all year. There's no guarantee of another playoff appearance if they can't duplicate their regular season success from last season.
